In the context of the knowledge society, the development of the educational system is influenced by several important variables such as: performance, ability to transform itself along with the necessities of the labor market, new teaching methods, capacity to attract student’s also national but very important international students. As it is the educational system is crossing a very ”cloudy” period.
The article is focused on presenting a way thought educational system could participate one on development of other using clusters. In the case of education programming, a cluster is group of schools located in close proximity to each other whose staffs meet regularly to build their capacity to improve quality at their schools. The cluster should provide different schools the opportunity to share their innovations and experiences. Various platforms and events, such as monthly meetings, exposure visits, and orientation programs, can be used for this purpose. It is here that teachers and schools with specialized skills can provide information as well as support to other schools to implement good practices and innovations A cluster is not only a method to connect school but also the business environment, infrastructure which in the case of the educational system is the libraries, and the research entities.
The main goal of this article is to discuss the main model of educational cluster, to offer successful examples and good practice example that can be of use in the Romanian educational system.
In conclusion, for schools the main gain of being in a cluster is that it can develop together but also being in competition of attracting new students, on long term teachers’ can share one to another their experience. | Keywords
