The clothing structure should allow, indifferent of destination, a continuous or near continuous exchange of air, even in the case when it use special treatments for materials used. Depending on environmental conditions and status of the body conditions, can simulate a range of comfort features for obtain an optimal apparel, from point of view of comfort. One of the main comfort features which should be take in account, at functional design of apparel structures, is its ability to allow transfer of air. This paper presents a way to simulate the functional design and choosing a clothing structures optimal, regarding the transfer of air, to ensure wearing comfort. Air permeability may be evaluated by an absolute indicator expressing the amount of air passing through the fabric, garment or clothing structure, at a certain difference in pressure per unit time and per unit area. The application software "Software application for simulation of air transfer through apparel structures according on the status conditions of body and environmental conditions" is required for learning achievement and/or verification of knowledge. The software contains a database from where are chosen: the destination, the clothing structures which will be designed and fabrics that make clothing products. For fabrics chosen will determine experimentally the flow of air passing through them and thickness that will be input values. The software performs all calculations for air permeability and resistance at air passing. At the end of the application, it displays the result, which may or may not fit into the accepted values domain. If the result is wrong, the software application allows resumption of calculations for to choose other inputs.
