Abstract
At this stage of development, costs of the development and use of experimental stands for laboratories fluid power (hydraulic drive) are very high, so that education units cannot afford the purchase and maintenance a whole experimental stands and modern data acquisition equipment, trained staff that can use of these systems.
In the paper is presented a system / framework / proposed envisages linking / connecting education units / research / laboratory on line within a network, for the sharing of available resources from laboratories. Thus, a school in Iasi, which has fluid power laboratory, can communicate online with fluid power laboratory in Cluj, for students to have access to laboratory stands in Iasi.
In order to achieve this, the following steps are required: a. uniformisation of analytical programs on joint laboratories for involved faculties; b. realization of the laboratory work; c. realization of the experimental stands, with the data acquisition equipment and data acquisition software; d. realization of the communication infrastructure.
The external beneficiaries, the students can do laboratory work with experimental tests, for example, the determination of the characteristics of pumps on a fully equipped stand. The students can enter the variable in the control and command system of the stand, perform de the experiment, and obtain the experimental data obtained through data acquisition software, for example Labview which has the proper modules for online data transfer, also can visualize the experiment via audio-video systems.
Using this system on a single stand a large number of students can be trained to a high level, assured through the work methodology and equipment, with low resources |
