Introduction:
Due to the increasing necessity of fashion design regarding the visual message and specific role of clothes in various fields of activity, our department became one of the most searched by the students in the Faculty of Applied Arts and Design. The need for ,,aesthetically educated tailors that become artistic personalities" led to a bigger number of students and e-Learning classical methods became available for them in order to resolve mainly the technical knowledge problem. The artistic environment instead has to be taught in blended learning systems by specialized teachers. Each one has its own modular course and the module lasts normally between one and three weeks. The themes are given by the teacher by mutual agreement. Aesthetic learning is closely connected with textile technology through eLearning.
Methods:
Visual communication, visual message, online communication.
Concept:
The patterns are very often expressed through paper, strings, metal, wood, glass, plastic and other materials than usual textiles. Therefore students use unusual patterns and give new forms of expression in fashion design. The artistic concept is the most important aim of our department. Aesthetics play the main role in the object production and some of the students become merchandiser agents or even shop front designers. The advertising principles will remain the most used concepts either in classical Learning or in eLearning for the next five years.
We improve the blended learning methods in our department, taking into account that many of our teachers have their own business outside the country, and many of our students will work in a specific worldwide network.
Conclusions:
Most of the students aim to sell their production on web platforms and online stores, being more and more internet oriented and IT interested. | Keywords
