Abstract
The football game has become a real social phenomenon and an industry, at the same time.
Turning this game in what it has become today has been possible based on using, in trainings and games, the latest information provided by the new systems of analysis and statistics, which allowed the deep knowledge of the components of the performance pattern.
Out of the multitude of information acquired following the statistic analysis of the I League official games, we may assert that a quite advanced level of knowledge has been reached, allowing an objective and efficient orientation of the training process, so that the victories obtained in the official games should be a consequence of the trainings correctly designed and adapted according to the features of their own players, but also of the opponents.
PANINI DIGITALSOCCER PROJECT submits to our attention a series of information and basic indexes referring to the global evolution of the teams, as well as an individualized analysis of the players and of the technical-tactical behavior. All this information is graphically structured and graded per time units (halves). Thus, this system provides general notions and groups the information according to the moments of the game (attack-defense), as follows:
- General notions: game volume, ball circulation, game quality, positioning in the field;
- Defensive stage: attitude, take back the ball, defense of their own goalpost;
- Offensive stage: beginning of the action, play depth, game on sideways, etc;
InStat Football, a new system of analysis and statistics used in the last years by the coaches and analysts of I League, proposes us a complex approach of the gathered information, as follows:
- General information, presented "in the mirror", concerning the overall evolution of the teams: actions, duels, passages, possession, attacks; this information is structured per time but, most importantly, per field areas;
- Information on the evolution of each player, individually analyzed, but by comparison to the opponent player, who played on the same position;
Both systems of analysis provide sufficient and objective information, but we propose to determine the system that structures data in such manner so that they should not be mere statistic information, but also to determine the coach/analysis to reach fast and clear conclusions concerning the team's training in order to win the future match. |
