In terms of health, a disability is any restriction or lack (resulting from an inability) of the ability to perform an activity in the manner or range considered easy for a human being.
Disability is characterized by excesses or deficiencies in the performance and behavior of the activity normally expected, and these can be temporary or permanent, reversible or irreversible, and progressive or regressive.
Disabilities can occur as a direct consequence of the deficiency or as a response of the individual, especially from a psychological point of view, to a physical, sensory or other deficiency. Disability is the objectification of a deficiency and, as such, reflects disorders in the person.
In the context of health experience, a disability is a disadvantage for a particular individual as a result of a disability or handicap, which limits or impedes the fulfillment of a normal role (depending on age, gender and social and cultural factors) for that individual.
The aim of this study is to highlight the importance of recognizing disability in school and society for example, in Romania, the investment in education is 2% which means very little for the real need
Conclusions: Disability requires increased attention in society and must be based on the fact that all people have equal rights and opportunities regardless of their disability, all individuals have an equal right to life. | Keywords
