context of e-learning as an alternative to traditional methods of study was introduced by NATO DEEP eAcademy back in 2020 in order to support and promote the main educational and training aims of the NATO DEEP. NATO Defence Education Enhancement Programme established in 2007 [1] is the tool for introducing reforms and developing strategies within the military scholarly environment. The purposes of coordinated practice on establishing the training curricula and promoting teachers' trainings within the NATO allied countries and their military institutions enabled sharing NATO standards.
NATO DEEP eAcademy ultimately fulfils the objectives of developing and promoting a common understanding of NATO values among officers, NCOs and civilian employees. As an academic organization it complements national efforts in military education and training, focusing on selected research topics and dedicated projects and workshops [2].
One of the recognized projects that stands as a good practice within the military educational area is the online workshop launched in April 2021 "Multimedia tools for e-teacher and e-instructor. How to develop engaging podcasts and videocasts?". This was created as the answer to the growing need of the higher education military institutions that have been searching for alternatives and modern solutions for the e-learning process that was introduced as a substitute to in-place education. Education decision-makers, military university authorities, lecturers, trainers and teachers from NATO allied countries, like Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Iraq, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Ukraine and Tunisia were introduced to learn, practice and also discuss experiences connected with creating multimedia.
