BIOMECHANICAL AND VIDEO ANALYSIS METHODOLOGY BY SIMULATING EMOTIONS TO DETERMINE THE LEVEL OF FACIAL RECOGNITION Authors: Baritz Mihaela Ioana , Tataru Anca Ioana, Rosu Bianca Elena Volume 2 | DOI: 10.12753/2066-026X-22-050 | Pages: 16-23 | Download PDF | Abstract
Emotions developed during an action can cause changes in subjects' behavioural responses from simple and imperceptible reactions to large and uncontrollable reactions. All these can be detected in the behaviour of human subjects through different methods of analysis and interpretation in order to understand, compensate and / or prevent certain manifestations of the degree of adaptation to their social and economic environment. In this sense, the paper presents, in the first part, a series of areas of activity in which facial recognition is important but especially the procedures for identifying different levels of behaviour in activities involving attention, concentration, visual memory, normal visual function and not lastly, emotional and effective participation. The second part of the paper presents the general aspects related to the structure of biomechanical analysis systems used for recording data (video) necessary to perform specific simulations on subjects in order to develop applications in the field of facial recognition. The third part of the paper presents the specific aspects of the conception and design of the experiment regarding the determination of the level of facial recognition in the case of the subjects from the chosen sample. The simulations of distinct forms of emotions that the subjects manifest are videotaped and then analysed to establish the degree of facial identification. In the fourth part of the paper are presented the results obtained and respectively are analysed the main aspects arising from the development of processes involving important behavioural factors. The conclusions derived from the research structure and respectively the possibilities of implementing such studies in methodologies for improving human interaction are summarized in the final part of the paper. | Keywords
