Main aim of this paper is to outline the creation and the impact of an e-learning instrument and a glossary of terms on education in the design and modelling of textiles. Both instrument and glossary are free resources on the Erasmus+ OptimTex project's website: www.optimtex.eu. They were created to support Higher Education students and professionals in textiles, especially during three Intensive Study Programs (ISP) and six Multiplier Events (ME). The educational materials' content resulted from a need from the world-of-work, namely the lack of professionals to master textile design and modelling software. Six modules were created following leading textile technologies: weaving, knitting, garment manufacturing, embroidery of e-textiles, design of experiment and TechTransfer. These modules were conceived within a Problem-Based-Learning approach, including Examples, Theory, Applications and Quizzes. The e-learning instrument and the glossary were adapted to the structure of the educational materials and were created for easy and intuitive access. They were programmed in PHP, MySQL and Javascript. Moreover, both the e-learning instrument and the glossary were performed during the pandemic restriction period, considering the requirements of this context. Erasmus+ OptimTex project is a strategic partnership KA2 project in the field of Higher Education with the implementation period 2020-2022. The ISPs and the MEs are planned for the second project year. A Moodle e-learning platform with all the modules in the six languages of the partnership (Czech, Dutch, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovenian and English) was implemented to support ISPs and MEs at the URL address: www.advan2tex.eu/portal/ . | Keywords
