With the everlasting development of social networks and the internet, the phenomenon of theft of heritage objects has become more widespread. Members from criminal networks have started to develop ingenious methods to escape and avoid law enforcement, rendering it as a hard to contain threat. This article aims to present the RITHMS (Research, Intelligence and Technology for Heritage and Market Security) project which, with the help of state-of-the-art technologies such as artificial intelligence, satellite imagery and telecommunications, will increase the ability to prevent these types of thefts.
All participants in the fight against illicit cultural property trafficking must be well-prepared. Although the internet is a great source of information, simply relying on unstructured information available online can be overwhelming, and a lack of specialist understanding can lead to topics being misunderstood. Therefore, a controlled approach towards information dissemination and complex topic learning is required, and an E-Learning platform can provide these requirements
Following recent medical events, wide-spread adoption of E-Learning methods has proven the range of benefits stemming from a society who isn't required to be at a certain location in order to receive an education. Therefore, the main advantages of implementing an E-Learning platform, as observed in other domains, will also be presented. | Keywords
