In recent years, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education has gained more and more attention in the world. One of the most promising areas of application of AI in education is the use of language models, such as Chatbots, which can generate texts and answers to questions based on AI. The launch of the ChatGPT artificial intelligence platform last November created new opportunities to support teachers and students in different educational contexts. There is a great potential to improve the learning process and increase access to education for students from all socio-economic backgrounds. However, there are challenges and risks associated with using AI in education, including issues of inequality and the need to maintain a balance between human interaction and the use of technology. This research paper proposes to evaluate the educational value of ChatGPT in the context of education in Romania. The paper will examine various ways of using this AI platform in education, including personalizing learning experiences, automating administrative tasks and adapting to the individual learning pace of students. In addition, it will examine the challenges and risks associated with the use of AI in education and provide suggestions for using AI language models such as Chatbots in this field.
