This paper presents several aspects concerning the multidisciplinary approaches in the field of wearable devices embedded in textiles using digital learning technologies (DLT) and smart 3D manufacturing to accelerate innovation, teaching and learning in the field of advanced materials for wearable medical, protective, sensorial (protective equipment, wearable monitoring devices) in the context of the digital transition. In the context of the fourth revolution and Internet of Things (IoT) development, wearable devices for monitoring integrated into textile articles represent an interesting approach for textiles. The DLT for wearable textiles was used in the framework of the Erasmus+ DigiTex project aiming to facilitate blended learning about intelligent materials and production from design to end-users in the field of Higher Education for students. In order to achieve these goals have been created 42 educational course modules about advanced materials for sensors, actuators, electromagnetic shielding, flexible harvesting devices and co-design/co-creation of the products integrating electronics components. The DLT consists of a platform integrating a database with users (students, teachers), courses, presentations and quizzes. The digital learning tools were developed using SQL, PHP and H5P and tested during the Erasmus+ DigiTex implementation (2021-2023). DLT positively impacts teachers and students, given that part of the project's implementation was during pandemic restrictions. The implementation, advantages and impact of the e-learning platform are presented in the paper. | Keywords
