The restrictions imposed by socialization constraints during the pandemic lockdown conditioned the acceleration of digital transformations in education, at all levels: from primary to higher education. The virtual environment has become a classroom, a repository of study resources, a meeting space, and a learning facilitator. This environment was exploited in different ways, depending on the learners' needs, the study subject, and the existing infrastructure, as well as on the professional and digital literacy level of the teaching staff. The acceleration of digitalization in Higher Education included numerous activities needed to switch quickly from traditional courses to courses being delivered online or at distance. This process highlighted and revealed a series of challenges already existing in Higher Education: implementation of Open Educational Resources (OER); the level of openness; e-strategy; didactic approaches; the quality of courses. This paper presents some theoretical insights regarding the mentioned subjects and the author's reflections on the quality of digital courses and the challenges of digitizing courses, tips and tricks for developing e-courses. Digital transformation of courses has the potential to improve the learning experience and make education more accessible, therefore it is important to address these challenges in order to ensure its success. This requires careful planning and consideration of the unique characteristics of digital learning environments, as well as ongoing evaluation and refinement of e-strategies. | Keywords
digital courses; quality of e-courses; e-didactics; e-strategy, OER |
