In the recent years, considering the pandemic context, a high demand for E-Learning platforms was registered all around the world. The different technologies and frameworks available for web developing supply this demand that came not only from educational institutions, but also from private organizations. This paper proposes a complete solution for an e-Learning web platform for image analysis of the assembly and disassembly cycles of prototype or unit products in a flexible manufacturing line. The image analysis system used to detect the assembly parts of the prototype product is described in the paper. The Matlab(R) visual processing routines implemented into the image analysis system are computational efficient and optimized for this type of tasks. To support both assembly and disassembly processes of unit products, a three-camera system is installed. The web technologies used to develop the E-Learning platform are the common ones found in dynamic web page creation process: HTML(R), CSS(R), and JavaScript(R). The experimental results confirm the system functionality for the image analysis method assessed for the flexible assembly line. The E-Learning platform is designed to be used both in the educational and scientific fields for students attending robotics, automatic control, or related courses or for scientific research staff, respectively. | Keywords
